100% of all proceeds go to charitable organizations as approved by r00t members.

Funds for these donations are raised by selling and auctioning off r00t and
conference memorabilia, including t-shirts, stickers, challenge coins, badges,
and other items. Items are sold in person at hacker conferences such as DEF CON,
and auctioned online on eBay in advance of those conferences.

r00t will be holding online auctions ahead of DEF CON 2026, auctioning off items
